Meg Ross is a Guelph-based multidisciplinary artist and educator. Unfolding across photography, sculpture, and writing, her art practice delves into the spaces where memory, perception, and materiality intertwine.

Why I joined the Fineline Co-op

After finishing my MFA a few years back, I realized that the art world doesn’t come with a built-in user manual—or even a halfway decent set of IKEA instructions. Artists are fueled by spaces where we can connect, experiment, and occasionally commiserate about grant rejections over coffee or—when we’re feeling fancy—an overpriced charcuterie board and a $9 bottle of wine. Fineline felt like one of those rare places where both emerging and established artists could support each other in meaningful ways, and I wanted to be part of that.
